PLEASE READ ENTIRE INSTRUCTIONS AND WARNINGS ENCLOSED BEFORE
USING TARGET CANNON!
Failure to load or use Target Cannon in strict accordance with instructions may cause
personal injury or death to the user or bystander, as well as damage to the Target
Cannon or other property. Seek professional instruction if you are unfamiliar with
firearms, ammunition, or Target Cannon.
Follow all instructions provided by manufacturers concerning black powder, pellets,
and ammunition.
Always wear ear and eye protection when handling, loading, and firing Target Cannon.
Discharging Target Cannon in poorly ventilated areas, cleaning Target Cannon, or
handling ammunition may result in exposure to lead and other substances known to
cause birth defects, reproductive harm, and other serious physical injury. Wash hands
thoroughly after using or handling Target Cannon, black powder, or ammunition.
Always keep the Target Cannon safety in “SAFE” position when handling or loading
Target Cannon.
Never transport, carry, or store a loaded Target Cannon.
Target Cannon should be operated and stored on a flat, level surface only.
Do not load Target Cannon until you are ready to fire it. Keep Target Cannon pointed
in a safe direction always and handle Target Cannon as if it were loaded.
WARNING! Do not place projectiles or any objects other than black powder pellets in
barrel. BLACK POWDER GRANULES SHOULD NOT BE USED IN TARGET
CANNON.
Wait at least one minute after the Target Cannon discharges before approaching or
reloading the Target Cannon.
Prior to loading or using Target Cannon, make sure all passages are clear of any
obstructions.
IMPORTANT! After loading Target Cannon, always use the green LOADED stickers
provided to mark that the cannon is loaded.
Do not point Target Cannon at any person, animal, or object.
Do not use wadding or pact black powder pellets.
Do not manually strike the firing pin; this could ignite the black powder causing serious
injury and/or death.
Be sure of your backstop and the safety of bystanders before firing Target Cannon.
WARNING: A projectile may ricochet off flat, hard surfaces such as rocks or Target
Cannon itself, and may cause serious injury and/or death to the shooter or bystanders,
and/or damage to property.
Do not fire at Target Cannon unless the shooter, bystanders, and property are AT
LEAST 30 YARDS away from Target Cannon.
Never fire Target Cannon with worn, broken, missing, or modified parts. Any and all
replacement parts should be obtained directly from Target Cannon, LLC.
Do not clean Target Cannon while it is loaded. (See instructions for unloading Target
Cannon.)
Do not exceed the maximum recommended powder charge contained in the
instructions. Do not use any ammunition, or ammunition components, other than that
listed in the instructions.
Target Cannon is recommended to be used with high powered air guns. A .22 caliber
long rifle firearm may be used, however, a .22 caliber long rifle firearm will cause
substantial wear to Target Cannon and parts will have to be replaced. WARNING! DO
NOT USE ANY FIREARM LARGER THAN A .22 CALIBER LONG RIFLE. THIS WILL
CAUSE SERIOUS DAMAGE TO TARGET CANNON AND MAY CAUSE SERIOUS
INJURY AND/OR DEATH TO THE SHOOTER OR BYSTANDERS AND/OR DAMAGE
TO PROPERTY.
