THINK SAFETY FIRST! Read and follow all of the safety instructions.

Your Target Cannon™ is made from the best materials and each one is crafted with the finest
quality.  If you take proper care of your Target Cannon™ it will provide many years of trouble
free fun.

Before using the Target Cannon™ make sure all screws are tight.

Always wear proper eye and ear protection while handling and using the Target Cannon™.

Use good quality shotgun primers in the Target Cannon™.

Only load the Target Cannon™ with 50/50 muzzleloading propellants in preformed charges--
also known as black powder pellets.  Be sure to follow manufacturer’s safety instructions.

Never use black powder granules!

Using your Target Cannon™:

Set up the Target Cannon™ at least 30 yards way from the shooter’s location.  Know what is
behind and beyond the Target Cannon™. Bystanders should always stand behind the shooter.

Target Cannon™ should be placed off the ground and on a flat surface such as a table.
(Caution:  Because damage to tables can occur from bullet spray, use a scrap plywood piece
on your table top.)

Target Cannon™ front frame are designed to hang approximately ¼- inch below the base of
the Target Cannon™. This allows the Target Cannon™ to be placed over the front edge of the
table surface to keep the Target Cannon™ box from moving while in use.

When loading the Target Cannon™ you must:

First: Move the firing pin forward away from the red cannon barrel and tight against the blue
front frame.  Now you are ready to install the primer into the small hole located near the bottom
of the red cannon barrel.

Second: Use the magnetic tipped screwdriver loading tool provided with your Target
Cannon™ to install the primer. Place the primer onto the tip of the loading tool and place the
primer into the small hole in the barrel you want to load.  Slide the tool off the primer leaving
the primer securely in place.

Third: Drop one black powder pellet into the top of each cannon that has a primer.  Place a
GREEN LOADED STICKER over the top of the loaded red cannons. Never load the cannon
without using the GREEN LOADED STICKERS.  They are provided for safety and should
always be used.

Fourth: Clear away from the Target Cannon™ area any extra primers and black powder
pellets; tools and equipment; and any other personal items.  The only thing that should be on
the table is the Target Cannon™ itself.

Fifth: The shooter’s location should be at least 30 yards away from the Target Cannon™.
Any and all bystanders should remain behind the shooter.

All common sense procedures for safe target shooting should be followed while the
Target Cannon™ is in use.

After discharging the Target Cannon™ you must wait at least one minute before approaching
or reloading the Target Cannon™.

Unloading a loaded Target Cannon™:

To unload the Target Cannon™ you should move the firing pin forward away from the red
barrel.  Take the magnetic tipped screwdriver loading tool provided with your Target Cannon™
and place the tip onto the primer pulling the primer out.  MAKE SURE ALL OF THE PRIMERS
HAVE BEEN REMOVED!!!

Once the primer(s) have been removed you can peel off the green loaded stickers.  Carefully
tip the Target Cannon™ upside down.  This will allow the unused black powder pellet to fall
out.  Replace the unused primers and black powder pellets in their original storage containers.
The Target Cannon™ is NOT fully unloaded until all primers and black powder pellets have
been successfully removed and properly stored.

Cleaning and storage of the Target Cannon™:

Never transport or store a loaded Target Cannon™.

Make sure your Target Cannon™ is unloaded before cleaning.  The Target Cannon™ should
be cleaned after each outing.  You should clean the Target Cannon™ with soap, water and a
soft rag or an old tooth brush.  AVOID USING ABRASIVE PRODUCTS.

If the firing pin is not sliding smoothly try to spraying it with a dry lubricant.  DO NOT USE ANY
PETROLEUM PRODUCTS!  If the firing pin is still not sliding smoothly, remove the two screws
from the bottom plate and pull off the mounting bracket. Slide the firing pin out and clean with
soap and water.  Dry the parts off and spray with a dry lubricant.  Move the firing pin back and
forth until moving smoothly.  Reassemble making sure all screws are tight.

Store your Target Cannon™ in a dry and safe place away from children.

Do not use the Target Cannon™ if any part is worn or broken.  Only repair with authorized
